"Binks emigrated to Kenya in 1900 and tried his hand at farming, photography, and hunting. He accompanied American hunter Paul Rainey on his safari, and met Teddy Roosevelt during the former president's famous expedition. There are descriptions of hunting elephants and leopards, as well as plains game" (Czech). Czech, Africa, pp. 26-27.
