Washington: privately printed, 1957. Original pictorial wrappers. 10 7/8 x 8 1/2 inches; 98 single-sided typescript pp. Wrappers with pale staining and some edgewear, minor toning to interior.
A narrative describing Russell Train (founder of World Wildlife Fund) and his wife Aileen's six-week trip to Kenya in 1956, only two years into their marriage. It was this trip that inspired the Trains' commitment to conservation and the protection of wildlife and wild places around the world. A very scarce title, with no other copies traced at auction and only one copy listed in WorldCat. Czech, Africa, p. 286.
