Doyle Next: Works from Galerie Internationale
NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle's current auction in the popular DoyleNext series of online-only sales offers 67 lots from the former Galerie Internationale of New York. Bidding will close on Wednesday, October 23 beginning at 7pm EDT.
A pioneering space featuring a wide spectrum of Modern artists, Galerie Internationale scoured the globe in search of new art. Located at 1095 Madison Avenue, Galerie Internationale was in existence for over 30 years, exhibiting the works of Ibrahim Hussein, Batman co-creator Bob Kane, Lois Mailou-Jones, Robert Vickers, Irene Rice Pereira and countless others. This group of works is culled from the gallery’s former holdings and features many artists exhibited in the Galerie Internationale space, including Malcolm McKesson, Ivan Mussau, Adolfo Couve and many more.
TIMED ONLINE-ONLY AUCTION
Bidding in the timed online-only auction will open on Friday, October 11 and close on Wednesday, October 23 beginning at 7pm EDT. Lots will close sequentially, one lot per minute, with a soft close. Should any bids be placed in the final minute, bidding will remain open on that lot for one additional minute.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card or wire transfer. The final purchase price will include the successful hammer price plus the Buyer’s Premium of 25% and any applicable sales tax.
