Comprising 21 letters addressed to his daughter, Princess Nina Georgievna, dated August to November, including: a letter dated August 10/23 which describes his imprisonment in the Peter and Paul Fortress and mentions a drawing of his prison cell sent to his wife Grand Duchess Marie Georgievna in London; a letter dated October 23/November 5 which describes the first anniversary of the October Revolution and his thoughts on the event; and a letter dated October 27/November 9 which describes the first anniversary of the October Revolution and rumors of amnesty for him and his fellow prisoners.
