Ovchinnikov, Moscow, late 19th century
Circular, with two scroll handles, on four ball feet, enameled overall with varicolored flowers with gilt stars and filigree scrolls on a gilt stippled ground, within rope-twist borders, the underside enameled in opaque blue and signed in Russian: Rabota fab. P. Ovchinnikova. Diameter 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm), width across handles 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm).
