Including two armchairs, each padded oval backrest within a veneered frame with faux rosewood-painted border flanked by downswept armrests centered by an overupholstered serpentine seat and raised on ring-turned tapering legs; back seat rails of armchairs stamped H, back rails of side chairs stamped S, one with painted Stair and Co. inventory number A8386. Height of armchair 38 3/4 inches (98.5 cm), width 23 inches (58.4 cm), depth 18 1/2 inches (47 cm).
