Louis XV Kingwood and Tulipwood Ormolu-Mounted Marquetry Commode
Mid-18th century
The serpentine grey marble top above a conforming case fitted with two short over two long drawers and a shaped apron, the keeled stiles with pierced mounts and chutes continuing to sabots. Height 32 1/2 inches (82.5 cm), width 51 1/2 inches (130.9 cm), depth 24 1/2 inches (62.3 cm).
