George IV Mahogany and Brass-Mounted Writing Table
Circa 1825
The leather-lined rectangular top with rounded corners and pierced three-quarter gallery above a frieze drawer, the molded trestle base joined by a ring-turned stretcher, raised on downswept reeded legs with anthemion-cast brass casters. Height 30 inches (76.2 cm), width 48 1/2 inches (123.3 cm), depth 29 1/2 inches (75 cm).
