First edition, one of 28 deluxe copies bound with an original fly tied for the book, this copy 11 with an "Emerald Gem" fly tied by Paul M. Schmookler, annotated, inscribed and signed by Schmooker in green ink on the limitation leaf. Publisher's three-quarters brown morocco, tan cloth sides, all edges gilt, housed in matching slipcase; the fly is mounted in a shadow box hinged at the rear of the book. 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches (21.5 x 21.5 cm); xii, 124 pp., with an introduction by J. David Zincavage and full-page color illustrations from photographs by Ingrid V. Sils of flies tied by Paul M. Schmookler. Fine.
The fly is that used for the photograph on page 48 of the book.
