Four posters, framed separately. Comprising: Freedom of Speech; Freedom of Worship; Freedom from Want; and Freedom from Fear. Washington, D.C.: U.S. Government Printing Office, [1943]. 40 x 28 inches (101.6 x 71.1 cm). Creased as usual, not examined out of frame.
Inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt's famous "Four Freedoms" speech delivered to Congress on the eve of World War II, Rockwell's original paintings were commissioned by The Post and appeared in the publication over four weeks in 1943.
