Additional Notes & Condition Report

each appears to be in generally good condition; there are, however, a few figurines that have had previous breaks and restorations; one figure now has a loss to its musical instrument (figure in dark orange coat and grey powdered wig with flute); one of the male musicians (bass player) may have had restoration to one if its feet; there has been a restoration to one of the drum sticks or batons in the left hand of the musician dressed in the yellow coat; three of the figurines have cancelled Meissen marks, including the figure of a bagpiper (dark orange coat and grey tricorn hat) and the other figure in a dark orange coat); there is some duplication/repetition to some of the models, i.e., there are three similar figures of the female monkey playing the grinding mandolin (one dressed in a white robe, one dressed in a yellow robe and one dressed in a pink robe) and there are two similar models of the musician playing the bass (one dressed in a blue coat and one dressed in a pale purple coat); there are variations to the Meissen crossed swords mark suggesting difference in dating; three of the figurines have cancelled Meissen marks; not blacklighted
