each chair appears to be in generally good, sturdy condition; there are scattered nicks and abrasions to various parts of the chair frames, including the leg rim edges and the rear side of the top crest rails; one seat has a a large stain; not all of the seats could be examined for staining; there are probably scattered spot stains to the various seats
