Additional Notes & Condition Report
Open Bookshelf Unit: appears to be in generally good, sturdy condition; there is some uniform soiling/dulling to the painted finish, consistent with age and usage; typical nicks, scuffs and minor abrasions, consistent with age, usage and handling; the drawer ring pull is missing on th upper right facing frieze drawer (but backplate is present); the drawer ring pull is detached (but present) on the lower right facing frieze drawer
Other Bookshelf Unit: currently quite wobbly (legs are apparently uneven); there are minor scattered nicks, abrasions and scuff marks to the painted finish; the mesh wire on the cupboard doors, ring pulls and the drawer interior are painted white, however, the paint application is rather crude/hastily applied; the mesh wire on the right facing door is slightly misshapen; the key locks the cupboard door section, however, the pins that secure the left facing door (top and bottom) do not quite fit or easily go into place and as a result the right facing door can be locked, however, the doors can be pulled into an open state; the drawer opens and closes, however, somewhat clumsily (not with ease)
Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Doyle New York shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
