London: Basset and Chisswell, [1676]. Double-page engraved map of the Carolinas, with west oriented at the top. Neatlines 15 x 20 1/4 inches (38 x 51 cm); framed. Paper replacement and infill to border at lower center fold, toned, one tape repair to verso, a few spots.
English text on verso. "The Carolina page gives a full synopsis of Lederer's expedition into Carolina: this widely circulated map must have done much to spread the knowledge of Lederer's explorations further than his own pamphlet would have done..." (Cumming 77).
