London: Methuen, [1926]. First trade edition, signed on the title by both Milne and Shepard. Publisher's green gilt stamped cloth, in original first issue dust jacket (with "117th Thousand" on rear flap). 7 3/8 x 5 inches (18.7 x 12.5 cm); 158 pp., illustrations after Shepard. Jacket panels lightly toned and the spine darkened and with a few scuffs and small losses to tips, offset to endpapers from jacket, internally clean.
