The oval mirror plate within a gadrooned frame with husk-swagged urn cresting and scrolling foliage and a foliate apron. Height 53 inches (134.7 cm), width 32 inches (81.3 cm).
John Linnell's design for a similar mirror in 1773 is illustrated, H. Hayward and P. Kirkham, William and John Linnell, 1980, vol. II, p. 101, fig. 195.
