The serpentine top above a baize-lined brushing slide and two short over four long mahogany-lined graduated drawers, on bracket feet; the bottom with penciled inscription: Restored by B. Fortirling (sp?) / Nov. 1978. Height 34 inches (86.4 cm), width 45 inches (114.3 cm), depth 24 inches (61 cm).

Beautiful quality, restored condition and now with shiny varnish, old marks and scratches, made of mahogany except for bottom and back boards, flame-veneered drawer fronts, appearing to retain original brass handles and escutcheons, lifting and losses to veneers of edges of top, feet probably reduced
