Fair condition, later painted and parcel-gilt, losses and restorations throughout, repaired breaks to eagles' heads, losses to foliate-carved clasps at centers of rails, age cracks and losses to foliate-carved scrolls below eagles' heads, repaired breaks to rails flanking center and now with plugs, old worm damage, formerly fitted with casters, chips and losses to decoration, rails not completely examined, scuffs and chips to feet, paper scroll-carved moldings to feet probably ; candle wax residue to tops of heads from wall light candles above.
