Chicago: O. P. Barnes, [1910]. First edition, signed by the author on the title-page. Publisher's pictorial brown cloth, stamped in orange, black and white. 6 x 8 1/2 inches (15 x 21.5 cm); 56 pp., illustrated throughout from photographs, one with color. Light wear to extremities; very pale mild foxing to first and last few leaves; near fine overall.
The author fished in the area southward from the southern boundary of Montana to the Tetons, and eastward from the eastern boundary of Idaho to the Absaroka Range. "Lying on both sides of the continental divide, its surface is veined by the courses of a multitude of streams..." We note only one copy at auction, apparently the present example. Bruns B50.
