Publisher's red cloth stamped in blind. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (21.5 x 14 cm); xl, [2], 648 pp., 24 pp. ads, with 2 maps and 4 colored plates. Binding quite worn, some fraying but sound; together with BURTON, RICHARD F.[RANCIS] and CAMERON, VERNEY LOVETT. To the Gold Coast for Gold. London: Chatto & Windus, 1883. First edition. Two volumes, publisher's red ornamented cloth. 7 1/4 x 4 5/8 inches (18.5 x 12.5 cm); xii, 354, [2] pp., 32 pp. ads; vi, 382 , [2] pp.; two folding maps, chromo plate. Binding quite worn, soiled, head and tails of spines chipped.
The first work is Penzer pp. 60-63; the second Penzer pp. 106-107.
