Publisher's purple cloth, printed paper label to the spine, cloth slipcase. 7 x 4 inches; [vi], 149 pp. Spine a bit faded, other light wear to boards but sound overall, spotted throughout, ink ownership signature of William P. Coles to title, bookplate of Daniel Webster Evans laid-in, bookplate of of William Mitchell Van Winkle to chemise.
A charming series of sporting sketches by a New York journalist. Henderson attributes the authorship to J. Davis based on another Van Winkle copy which was inscribed "with the compliments of J.
