[Saint-Cloud]: s.n., [1889]. 14 plates with "Collection anthropologique du Prince Roland Bonaparte" imprinted at the foot, with a total of 31 mounted albumen prints with the blind stamp "Collection Prince Roland Bonaparte", as issued, housed in the original gilt-decorated green cloth portfolio. Light wear to some of the mounts, some handling wear.
Roland Napoleon Bonaparte produced an important series of photographic anthropological studies of various tribal groups around the world.
