Some toning, plates a bit foxed; HARRIS, WILLIAM CORNWALLIS. The Wild Sports of Southern Africa... London: John Murray, 1839. First edition. The issue with a map and 7 plates; CAMPBELL, JOHN. Travels in South Africa, undertaken at the request of the Missionary society. Andover, MA: 1816. First American edition, the copy of a C.E. Vanderkamp (presented by him), who appears to be mentioned frequently in the text; ANDERSON, ANDREW A. Twenty-Five Years in a Waggon in the Gold Regions of Africa. London: 1888; and American editions of two other works on South Africa.
