1962, apparently vintage. Gelatin silver print, 9 5/8 x 7 inches (244 x 180 mm), dry-mounted, signed in pencil on mount recto (l.r.), verso signed, dated and annotated in pencil "Vintage/1962/Ruth Bernhard/Agfa E/4/One of 3 or 4." Slight toning noted on mount, the verso removably taped to the mount. Framed.
An extremely attractive image, with rich, almost platinum tones. This example purchased Sotheby's October 12, 2000, lot 265.
