Full scarlet morocco by Birdsall for Charles Scribner's Sons, upper cover with an inlaid design of a pig with a market basket, flat spine with floral onlays, all edges gilt, housed in a red cloth chemise and slipcase. 7 3/4 x 5 5/8 inches (19.5 x 14.5 cm); xii, 160 pp., color plates throughout, drawings in-text. Light wear, a near-fine example.
