Additional Notes & Condition Report
Please Note: this urn cannot currently be used as a vase: it is comprised of two separate parts (body and domed foot) and it is "open" all the way through, i.e, through the main body and through the foot
The glass appears to be in good, undamaged condition; there are a few tiny, fleabite-size nicks to the top and bottom rim edges, nothing of any great consequence; there is a fair amount of rubbing to the gold ground in the central frieze; there is wear and rubbing to the gilt decoration, notably along the top rim edge of the foot
Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact and Doyle New York shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. Please contact the specialist department to request further information or additional images that may be available.
