Flattened rectangular, enameled in translucent pale blue over a chevron pattern engine-turned ground, with laurel-chased border, the detachable pencil with gold mount, with suspension loop, in an Alexander Fuld wood box. Length excluding suspension loop 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm.).

Light surface wear to enamel surface and to gold mounts; two small areas of restoration to enamel (corner of pencil below suspension loop), now discolored. The box with wear consistent with age and use.
