The rectangular top above a frieze drawer flanked by corbel-fronted small drawers over a pair of paneled doors flanked by female terms headed by Ionic capitals, the breakfronted plinth raised on paw feet; frieze drawer with label to right side and inked insciption: '. . B. Kerna. . .(sp?) / Boston'.. Height 42 inches (106.7 cm), width 42 inches (106.7 cm), depth 20 inches (50.8 cm).

Previous restorations, top with later piece at back edge across entire width, probably due to shrinkage commensurate with age, top warped upward at front, slightly sagging in the middle, wood worm damage, age crack to right side of frieze drawer, rubbing and losses to carving, small molding lacking to top corner above left term, age cracks to sides, feet later, left front foot joined in two pieces and now separated; frieze drawer with label to right side and inked insciption: '. . B. Kerna. . .(sp?) / Boston'.
