Early 19th century, possibly Russian
The rectangular top above a drawer fitted with a hinged panel opening to a mirror on an easel and flanked by sliding panels, all over a deep and small drawer flanked by tapering stiles headed by Neoclassical female masks and ending in block feet. Height 32 inches (81.3 cm), width 31 inches (78.7 cm), depth 18 inches (45.7 cm).

Previous restorations, lifting, losses and replacements to brass fillets throughout, sunfading to top, veneer loss to front left corner edge, drawers formerly fitted with handles and now with plugs, right side of bottom drawer with 5 1/2 inch veneer patch, legs possibly later, old marks and scratches, scuffs to legs
