Two Chinese Armorial Plates
Mid-18th century
The first with arms of Pryce within a gilt scroll-and-shell border. Diameter 9 1/8 inches (23.1 cm); the second with the arms of Watson of Saughton along the rim, the center with trees, mountains, dogs and a bird. Diameter 9 inches (23 cm).

Arms of Pryce, large area of restoration from 10 to 6 o'clock, light wear to gilt and enameled decoration in areas, gilding rubbed to cavetto and decoration from 7 to 5 o'clock; arms of Watson: in good condition, light rubbing to enamel and gilt decoration in areas including to motto, along rim and center areas ( all visible in catalogue photos)
