Pair of North European Neoclassical Gilt-Bronze, Cut-Glass, Malachite and Marble Two-Light Candelabra
Possibly Russian, first quarter 19th century
Each with a central spire with a canopy hung with swags of prisms on a reverse-painted baluster support flanked by scrolling prism-hung candle arms, on a stepped square base. Height 28 1/4 inches (72.3 cm), width 18 inches (45.8 cm).

Unrestored condition, interior of reverse-painted support of spire now dried, flaking and with losses, side prisms of slightly amethyst hues to each end, losses and replacements to prisms, areas of dried polish to ormolu base of one, chips to malachite and marble, in need of gentle cleaning.
