Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Center Bowl
Designed by Johan Rohde, pattern no. 242, circa 1933-44
With a circular deep bowl raised on an openwork stem formed of upright leaves and scrolling tendrils and a central berry cluster, continuing to a stepped domed circular foot. Height 5 inches, diameter 7 3/8 inches. Approximately 16 ounces.

appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; no apparent dings or small dents to the body or foot; there are few very tiny nicks to the upper rim edge of the bowl, not of any great consequence; there are a few scattered light scratch marks to the center of the bowl, also, not of any great consequence; no apparent monograms or evidence of monogram removal; the bowl sits nice and straight upon a table surface; the bowl has a subtle hand-hammered finish; stamped with various marks, including GJ in a box, JR in an oval formed of raised dots, etc.
