Louis XV Japanned and Gilt-Metal Mounted Bureau de Pente
Mid-18th century
The slant-front decorated with scrolling flowers and opening to a leather-lined panel and red-painted interior with drawers and a pigeonhole, with a frieze drawer, the back finished, raised on cabriole legs ending in pierced sabots. Height 35 inches (88.9 cm), width 22 1/2 inches (57.2 cm), depth 16 inches (40.7 cm).
