[ROYALTY] MARGARET, PRINCESS, Countess of Snowdon. Autograph note signed.
On Clarence House stationery, to a dressmaker, accompanying the gift of a photograph. Framed with portrait; WILIAM IV, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and King of Hanover. Military appointment on vellum, signed. Framed with portrait; and EDWARD VII, ALBERT EDWARD. Military appointment signed "Edward R & I" (also signed by St. John Brodrick), with wafer seal, dated 27 February 1900. Framed with portrait. None examined out of frame.
The Edward VII is exceptionally early; it was likely delayed in signing from the date of issue because of Victoria's indisposition and death; Edward did not become King until her death on 22 January 1901.
