. Paris: Cahiers D'Art, 1957-1978. Mixed edition set; the first volume is the second impression. Thirty-four volumes, I-XXXIII (with volume II in two parts, as issued), all volumes but the last rebound in brown leather-textured boards, not retaining wrappers (volume XXXIII is in wrappers, presumably received after the set was bound; and a second copy of volume 29 in later cloth. 12 3/8 x 9 5/8 inches (32 x 24.5 cm); various paginations, profusely illustrated throughout. Some volumes shaken, some signatures starting to pull from the spine, but uncommon complete with all volumes.
A distinguished set of the definitive catalogue raisonne of the works of Picasso, one of the great monuments of modern art scholarship.
