An antique English burl walnut small scale travel desk, the hinged lid opening to two glass inkwells over two trays and two drawers, 10 1/2 x 10 x 7 inches (27 x 26 x 18 cm). Some wear, lacks key. Provenance: C.B. Charles' Galleries "Auction of the Magnificent John Barrymore Estate", 17 January 1975, lot 58, the original auction catalogue accompanies the lot.
