Jar A: appears to be in good, undamaged condition, including the cover, finial, rim edges, etc.
Jar B: appears to be in generally good condition, however, there is a small shallow flake loss to the surface of one of the orange colored bands on the border area of the cover; there is a similar type of loss, possibly a small nick to the body or small burst glaze bubble, located on the side of the body
each jar is stamped on the underside "A Mottahedeh design" within a circular device; one jar also has a small paper label: Made in Japan; each jar has general wear and rubbing to its gilding; not blacklighted
