each appears to be in generally good condition with the exception that one foot is now "out of round" because it is now pushed in and dented in some areas around the circumference; the foot of the other bowl is similarly "out of round," however, it is not as noticeable; each bowl has a 'sunken' center, as made, one more noticeable on one bowl than the other; each is engraved in block letters along the outer upper rim edge: one is engraved J. MANOT DU VERNOIS 1858; the other is engraved: C. NIQUET DE GROSBOIS 1869; each bowl is hallmarked
