Three Sterling Silver Novelty Vesta Cases
Various makers, 1885-1906
Comprising one marked Robinson & Co., Birmingham, 1893, of cigar form with cutter, length 4 1/4 inches (10.5 cm); another marked Birmingham, 1885, shaped rectanuglar in the form of four cigars, height 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm); and the last marked Rolason Bros., Birmingham, 1906, shaped rectangular ribbed form, height 2 inches (5 cm), total approximately 42.2 dwt, weighable; Together with a Silver Plated Example, shaped rectangular in the form of a tied package of matches, 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).

Four cigar shape - Birmingham, 1885 - good condition overall; marks rubbed; hinge good and tight
Ribbed example - Rolason Bros., Birmingham, 1906 - good condition overall; clearly hallmarked; good detail to decoration; medallion blank, but no sign of erasure; hinge good and tight
