N.p. (but Buffalo?): [self-published]. 1928. Signed by the author on the dedication leaf. Dark green card covers with embossed title on upper cover. 8 x 6 inches (20.5 x 15.5 cm); 53, [3] pp.; illustrations after photographs throughout text, folding map affixed to rear paste-down. Minor wear to extremities. but in all a very well-preserved copy.
Four copies only are recorded by WorldCat; two are in Buffalo institutions, where the participants of the expedition originated. We note only one copy at auction. "The author and a group of friends including George Goodyear and Daniel Streeter set out on a hunting expedition to the Sudan and British East Africa using a houseboat dubbed the Amka as a source of transportation on the region's waterways. Elephants, buffalo, lions and plains game were bagged..." Czech Africa p. 222 ("scarce").
