[CARROLL'S ISLAND CLUB] A fine collection of material pertaining to the Carroll's Island Club, Carroll's Island, Baltimore County, Maryland and similar private clubs.
Baltimore, MD, etc.: 1880-1886. Housed in a ring binder, this includes an 1880 edition of the Club's Charter and By-Laws for 1880; the Club's Rules and Regulations; three financial reports of the Executive Committee; two pieces of ephemera relating to the Second Annual Hunting Trip of the "Davy Crockett" Club (which appears to have been a subsidiary organization that organized hunting car excursions); a lengthy letter by E.B. Leisenring and a related menu with an attached curio inscribed by the passengers on Leisenring and Middleton's private yacht Sans Souci; etc.
