[DUCK-HUNTING] CLEVELAND, GROVER, as President.
Two autograph letters, one single-page with conjugate blank, one two-page with conjugate blank, both signed and on "Executive Mansion" White House stationery, with envelopes. From Grover Cleveland (as President, during his first term) to C.W. Middleton (a member of the Carrol's Island Duck Club and a prominent Philadelphia sportsman and businessman). Dated April 8th 1886 and December 9th 1886, Cleveland writes in both cases to thank Middleton for the gift of a brace of ducks and notes "I have entered upon their consumption with great enjoyment.
