Publisher's red cloth, decorated and titled in gilt and green, pictorial paper onlay to upper board; publisher's dark brown paper slipcase with illustrated paper onlay. 11 x 8 1/2 inches; [2], viii, 210 pp.; frontispiece, plate and in-text illustrations by Paul Bransom. Faint red mark on spine; slipcase worn at extremities with a few small areas of paper loss, one corner starting, paper onlay toning at edges, a sound copy.
