Los Angeles: Privately printed by the author, (1961). First edition "especially printed for private distribution to friends," copy 199, inscribed. Publisher's cream cloth, title-label on the upper cover. 8 1/2 x 6 inches; [vi], 56 pp., plates. Toning to binding.
Johnson was a lawyer and a keen hunter and traveller. This little work narrates a voyage to shoot polar bear in Arctic Norway, and is dedicated to his daughter Paddy. It is one of three hunting works he published.
