[YUKON-HUNTING] BOND, JAMES H. From out of the Yukon
. Portland, OR: Binfords & Mort, (1948). Publisher's blue-gray cloth with a vignette in black of a bighorn, in the dust jacket. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (21.5 x 14 cm); xii, 220 pp.; plates after photographs. Light wear to jacket, several small edge loses, one corner of the binding a trifle bruised, but in all a very nice copy.
From the jacket: "Here is a big game hunting story from the greatest virgin hunting grounds in North America. Yet the author does more than just relate his hunting experiences. Sent into the Northern Yukon Territory by the Yukon Fish and Game Association, Mr. Bond made a valuable record of the game in that area by studying their movements, habits, and estimating their probable number and photographing them".
