Publisher's red cloth with sporting vignette in gilt on the upper cover. 10 x 7 inches (26 x 17.5 cm); xvi, 340 pp.; 7 maps, photogravure frontispiece, 5 photogravure plates, 6 color plates, illustrations in text. Front board slightly yawing, light wear to extremities, scattered pale foxing.
A classic on the natural history of the region and on caribou hunting, written by the eminent illustrator of natural history and avid big game hunter.
