appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there are some scratches to the decorated reserve on the cover, most notably, to the purple upholstered seat area; it appears that the decoration is transfer printed rather than hand-pinted; an "artist" signature appears on the cover, which may be "Funard;" the hinged cover does not properly fully close or come into contact with the top rim edge of the body; the mount along the upper rim edge of the body appears to have been re-affixed into place and may not have been entirely properly done; for example, the white porcelain body is exposed in some areas along this rim area; the interior side of the body and the underside of the cover are transfer printed with colorful floral spray; wear to gilding on metal mounts; metal mount on the underside is stamped FRANCE; no Sèvres or other marks; not blacklighted
