Please Note: Doyle cannot make any statement regarding the working condition of this or any other clock in this auction; therefore, please assume this clock is not in working condition and may need to be serviced by a professional clock person.
Case: appears to all of its original metal mounts; there is a crack and poor restoration to the onyx on front left bottom corner and also to the onyx on the left rear bottom corner; there is a chip loss to the other bottom onyx corner at the rear; retains a winding key that fits (may be a replacement) and retains a pendulum; the movement is marked "LC" within an oval and is numbered 243; all four of the glazed side panels are beveled and appear to be in good, undamaged condition; one of the glazed side panels is ever so slightly loose (it rattles slightly when gently tapped); there is a drill hole to the bottom metal plinth end at the rear side of the clock (uncertain as to its purpose - possibly to hold winding key, however, the present winding key does not fit)
