Early light green wrappers with a "Gigantic Land Tortoises/Tortoises of the Galapagos/Gunther" in manuscript, this stitched to a second card wrapper. 11 3/4 x 9 inches (30 x 23 cm); paginated from [251]-284, 12 lithographed plates (two folding). The plates with dampstain to lower corner, thumbsoiling and wear to binding, sold as is.
