The scroll-carved serpentine back with spherules above a caned back, seat and out-scrolled sides, raised on spiral-carved legs. Height 40 1/2 inches (102.9 cm), length 95 inches (241.3 cm), depth 26 inches (66 cm) .

Fair condition, sunfading, especially to reverse of backrest, patches and repaired breaks to left armrest at junctures of scrolled ends, later caning broken out to back of seat, patched repair to right side of top rail, right front leg with losses to spiral molding at front, old marks and scratches, scuffs to apron, legs and feet.
